Privacy
Your photos stay yours.
Travel photos say a lot about you: where you sleep, who you’re with, when you’re away. We built TripStory to keep it that way.
You decide who sees it
Each trip is public, anyone-with-the-link, or only you - change it anytime. Nothing appears in public listings unless you choose Public.
Never used to train AI
Your photos and stories are used to make your trip and nothing else. The AI services we use may not train on them, and the living photos on free trips and Trip Passes are made on our own servers.
Exact spots stay private
Journey pages show places, not coordinates: locations are rounded to about 100 m, and your photos’ GPS data and exact times are never shown.
Delete means delete
Delete a trip and its photos, film, comments and reactions are removed from our storage and database right away.
No ad trackers
No third-party ad or tracking scripts. Our own first-party analytics only count how TripStory is used, and are never sold or shared for advertising.

TripStory is a web app that turns the photos from a trip into a written story, a map of your route and a short film set to music, all on one journey page you can share. It reads when and where each photo was taken, so there’s nothing to fill in, and your first trip is free.
No. Dates and places come from the information already stored in your photos, and when a photo has lost its location, TripStory recognises the place from what it shows. Only if nothing at all can be placed do we ask, once, where you were.
Yes. Pick photos straight from Google Photos, or paste a link to an iCloud shared album (in beta). On an iPhone, “Photos & iCloud” opens your whole library. Google doesn’t share photo locations, so TripStory places those photos from what they show.
Originals from your phone or camera, because they carry the time and place. Photos from Android, Google Photos or messaging apps often lose their location; that’s fine - TripStory finds the place from landmarks, signs and scenery, and from the photos taken around them.
The story and the route map appear in about a minute, and the first cut of the film a minute or two later. A few minutes after that, its best shots come alive. You can close the tab; we’ll keep going.

Yes. Switch between the Poetic, Travel guide and Funny voices, rewrite any sentence, retitle the trip or pick a different cover. Your edits are kept.
You choose for each trip: public, anyone with the link, or only you. Friends don’t need an account to view a journey page, and you can change who can see it at any time.
Never. Your photos are only used to make your story. Delete a trip and its photos are gone.
