TripStory turns a trip’s photos back into what they were: a story. The days, the places, the order you saw them in - written and mapped in about a minute, then cut into a film to music.

Every photo you take remembers exactly when and where it was taken. Line a trip’s photos up by that memory and the trip comes back on its own: the morning you arrived, the town you didn’t plan to stop in, the beach on the last day.
We built TripStory to do that lining-up for you, and then do the part nobody has time for - write it down beautifully, draw the route, and cut the film you always meant to make. You drop the photos. That’s the whole job.

Nothing to fill in
If we have to ask you a question, we’ve failed a little. Dates and places come from the photos - even when a phone or Google has stripped the location, we find the place in the picture.

A trip is yours alone until you choose who sees it. Public, anyone with the link, or only you - per trip, changeable anytime.

A story you’d read again in five years, not a list of captions. In the voice you choose, in English or Hebrew, and yours to edit.

Every page, map and film should look finished the moment it appears. No templates to fiddle with, no editor to learn.

Here is exactly what happens to your photos when you make a trip, and who touches them.

Your photos are read
On your device, the time and place stored in each file are read before anything leaves it. From Google Photos or an iCloud album, our servers fetch only the photos you picked.

Kept in private storage
Photos go to your trip’s private folder on Google Cloud, encrypted at rest, reachable only through your account.

Places get their names
Coordinates become place names with OpenStreetMap - only coordinates are sent, never the photos. A photo without a location is placed by the AI that captions it.

The story is written
Google’s Gemini captions the best shots and writes the chapters, in English or Hebrew, under terms that forbid training on your content.

The film comes alive
Cut on our own servers with an original soundtrack. Living photos are made on our own servers too, or by Kling or Google Veo on Explorer.
You decide who sees it
Each trip is public, anyone-with-the-link, or only you - change it anytime. Nothing appears in public listings unless you choose Public.
Never used to train AI
Your photos and stories are used to make your trip and nothing else. The AI services we use may not train on them, and the living photos on free trips and Trip Passes are made on our own servers.
Exact spots stay private
Journey pages show places, not coordinates: locations are rounded to about 100 m, and your photos’ GPS data and exact times are never shown.
Delete means delete
Delete a trip and its photos, film, comments and reactions are removed from our storage and database right away.
No ad trackers
No third-party ad or tracking scripts. Our own first-party analytics only count how TripStory is used, and are never sold or shared for advertising.
Your films are yours
Download every film as an MP4 - widescreen, plus 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 on paid plans - and keep it wherever you like.
